On October 21, 2013, Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics will hold a reception to celebrate ten years of providing skin care training and services to the greater Atlanta area. A division of Atlanta School of Massage, Atlanta School of Aesthetics was formed by the same management team, with the same high standards, and is following the same path of excellence.
The inaugural skin care class of April 2003 marked the official opening of Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics. Reflected each day in AIA’s mission statement and practices is Founder Leticia Allen’s long-standing dedication to eco-friendly practices and sustainability. At SensAbility (the teaching clinic of Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics), students perform spa services on clients using organic products and are taught sustainable business practices as a part of the core curriculum.
Held at their Dunwoody campus, this cocktail reception will allow current and former students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to mingle with other industry professionals, tour the facility, and win door prizes every half hour. Lake Louise, green business leader and founder of Lotus Moon® Organic Skincare, will be providing skincare and product consultations.
Speaking on the positive impact AIA has had on the Aesthetics Community, School Founder Leticia Allen states: “Our students are the massage therapists, estheticians, and personal trainers of the future. Sustainability education provides them with the knowledge and skills that will enable them to be agents of change in their industries.”
