How to Make Herbal Green Tea Compress Mask

We have learned about and have worked with a few different masks in class now. So far my favorite is the Organic Herbal Green Tea Compress Mask.  It’s real simple.  First brew the organic green tea then let it chill in the refrigerator in a sealed container.  When ready to use take a pre measured piece of cotton compress and infuse it with the chilled organic green tea.  That’s it, then just apply it to your clients face.

Benefits of Herbal Green Tea for the Skin

It’s good for all skin types. But it really has a positive effect on mature skin, rosacea and acneic skin.  Green Tea is a powerful antioxidant which helps fight against free radicals and it has soothing agents.  It is also antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and a stimulant. It’s no wonder it is used in so many skin care products.  Some of the benefits of the Herbal Green Tea Compress Mask are skin toning, hydration, improved circulation, calms and sooths.

I have oily acneic skin and during my facial my classmate did some extractions followed with the Herbal Green Tea Compress Mask. I was so amazed at the results.  There was no inflammation, no redness or soreness, just clearer skin and smoother texture. I was sold.  So recently I did extractions on one of my clients and followed with a Herbal Green Tea Compress. She loved it; she told me that she could see the difference in her skins appearance; Whereas before it wasn’t until the next treatment when she noticed a difference.  She was very pleased.

Be on the lookout for my next post Collagen Fleece Mask. Is the collagen really going into the dermis layer of the skin?
