Atlanta Esthetics School Visits KRYOLAN

Posted on: March 2nd, 2016 by Admin 2 Comments

Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics, (AIA), students took an exciting field trip to the largest Kryolan Professional Make-up showroom in the US. A family run company, Kryolan has been supplying the film, theater and television industries for over 70 years. They make an extensive range of over 16,000 high-quality make-up products and accessories. Kryolan representative and esthetician, Rena McGee, gave students a lesson in creating special effects like bruise, wound and scar techniques. Students got to experiment with makeup, fake blood and scar making products.

The showroom is located inside Engineer Guy, a one stop shop for mold-making, casting and special FX materials. Both companies supply the film, theater and television industries with an abundance of options for makeup and props. If our students or graduates pursue a career in make-up artistry they have the advantage of being in Atlanta, with it’s rapid growth and appeal to the film and television industries. AIA focuses on skincare but the program includes additional arts and therapies like make-up, medical esthetics and reflexology.

Students get to play with a variety of makeup products.

Rena McGee introduces students to KRYOLAN DERMACOLOR Camouflage Cream. This mineral-oil based foundation is E-care certified and the recommended foundation to use after plastic surgery or chemical peels. Professionally it’s water-proof and endures extreme heat conditions.

Love It I am sure the students did!!

I love how you categorize those colors for everything! It is difficult to look for different types of make-up in just one shop. This is very convenient especially for moms whose kids are having different activities.
