Beginning September 13th, 2011 Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics students will provide LED treatments as a natural anti-aging skin care alternative that results in vibrant, healthier-looking skin. LED Light Therapy improves skin texture and tone, treats mild to moderate acne, improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, repairs sun damage, and accelerates post-operative healing. The treatments complement Microdermabrasion as they accelerate cell renewal and collagen growth. LED Light Therapy can be added to any facial at SensAbility, the teaching clinic, for an additional $15. For dramatic results, the combined Microdermabrasion and LED treatment is recommended every 7-10 days for 6-12 consecutive sessions.
“We are committed to offering our students the best training and equipment available. Our clients will benefit from advanced treatments for a fraction of the professional rate,” said Leticia Allen, President of Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics, a division of Atlanta School of Massage.
Studies have shown that LED Light Therapy is also a safe and effective alternative to Accutane for treating acne . The combination of blue, red and infrared lights get down to the core of acne causing bacteria. The red lights help to reduce inflammation while at the same time, the blue lights help to kill the acne causing bacteria.
