Some of the benefits of getting your NASM Personal Trainer Certification at the Atlanta Personal Trainer Program, (APTP), are the field trips to state-of-the-art fitness centers. Recently APTP students took a field trip to CrossFit on the Square. Mario Carlomagno, CFSQ Program Director, and Eric Lichtfuss, NASM CMT, LMT coached students on the proper ways of training with kettlebells.
Students learned techniques based on the teachings of Pavel Tsatsouline, the Russian kettlebell guru.
Taking a less-is-more approach to strength and conditioning the kettlebell is used to facilitate mobility and flexibility training while developing a high level of strength and power.
In the following video students put their new knowledge of proper kettle bell training into practice.
